On tumblr I follow the illustrator Leslie Hung (milkmanner) and she does amazing fluid drawings. Her drawings of women especially look so relaxed and sensual and there is so much weight and dimension to the characters. They're really amazing.
I analysed my own style after that and noticed that my characters always look stiff and tense as though they're always posing as opposed to actually interacting with their environment.
I feel as though I need to learn about the center of gravity again for starters. However, does anyone have any tips on how I can improve my art to make the characters look more natural besides that?

The Spirit of the Camino
My overall goal is to create a short 2D animated film about the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain.
The Camino is a medieval pilgrimage where one walks almost 9000km from the French border to the western coast of Spain. It has the reputation of being both physically demanding, and 'magical' where people go to 'find themselves'. In 2017, Me, a 24 y/o Australian girl, with basic Spanish skills and a serious medical condition, managed to complete this pilgrimage. I want to share my story of this trail to inspire

I first read about The Camino in a book called ‘The Pilgrima

What is deviantArt?
Today I found this link and video introducing new users to dA.
For you readers, it may not seem like such a big deal, especially if you're on dA everyday like me, however I remember the first time I came across the website DeviantArt. (I used to be on theotaku.com) It was a hug overwhelming web space full of artwork that changed all the time, and somehow everyone seemed to have an account.
For someone visiting the site for the first time, I was frustrated that so many people had an account, but I could even figure out what the website was for, and what was the point of it. I had to look it up on Wikipedia to figure out that dA was a socia

You could try like, sketching people relaxing in the park or something? That's been helping me. Plus like when I'm drawing, 'acting' out the pose, so i can get a pose that looks natural.
